Example Overview

An instance is a bare metal server that you create. Different instance types provide different computing power, storage space, and network performance, so you can choose a different type of instance based on your business needs. When Huawei Cloud delivers an instance to you, you will get complete control rights of this server, including boot, shutdown, in-band management, etc.

Instance Type

According to the CPU architecture, the bare-metal server is divided into x86 and Kunpeng instances. The physical resource pool is equipped with Huawei self-developed high-performance physical servers with exclusive tuning algorithms to provide you with a reliable hardware environment. You can choose different bare-metal servers based on GPU computing power according to your business needs.

Other Notes

• Based on the bare metal server in this site, the system disk defaults to RAID 1 and the data disk defaults to pass-through disk. System disk RAID does not support variable configuration.

• Physical.D2.Large, physical.Io2.Xlarge and physical.ki1.4xlarge.Joined ondemand instance support tenants custom group RAID, you can put all RAID data plate group, You can also freely choose the number of disks in the group RAID and set the RAID level. See Customizing Group RAID for details.
